Helping the Capable, But Unmotivated & Disorganized Child – The 123 Succeed Program Basics & Beyond: Intended for school counselors, child study team members, 504/I&RS committee members, and other helping professionals. The capable, but unmotivated, disorganized, and underachieving child is a source of great frustration for many.  Parents and educators often find themselves working very hard to motivate and support the student in changing their underachieving ways. When despite their best efforts the student continues to underachieve, this frustration can easily turn to anger and resentment.  At some point parents and educators can even give up on a child when it appears that they care more about the student’s academic success than he/she does.  This seminar will teach participants about a comprehensive academic improvement program called 1-2-3 Succeed. It will provide great insights to the causes of underachievement, proven strategies for helping students improve behavior and grades, and empowerment for parents to take    the lead in their child’s education.  The 1-2-3 Succeed Program can be used to enhance in-school counseling sessions, counselor/student relationships, parent meetings, and CST, 504, and I&RS interventions.  Please visit www.123succeed.com for more detailed information about this amazing program.
