Even though the field of psychology has become more scientifically based in the last 50 years, therapy continues to be somewhat of an art form. It is possible to see ten different therapists for the same exact problem and receive ten different opinions on how to treat the problem. Because of this variability, and the fact that therapy is such a huge investment of time, money, and energy, we strongly encourage you to do your research in selecting the most qualified and suitable therapist for you or your loved one. With this in mind, we are providing you with detailed information regarding each of our therapists.
At SFC, we specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other mental health difficulties. In addition, each therapist has other areas of expertise including the treatment of ADHD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, and family/marital problems.
Please note that our therapists are independent contractors and not employees of Strength for Change, LLC. Each therapist is independently licensed and insured and takes sole responsibility for his or her clients and the quality of care provided.

“Many of my clients come to therapy anxious or reluctant about being in treatment. I take pride in being able to make the experience comfortable for them. Even though we are discussing serious issues, we have moments of fun and laughter. It is my enthusiasm and sense of humor that helps put clients at ease and enables them to get the most out of therapy.”

“Since a young age I have had a passion for helping others. After interning at a high school at the start of my career, I quickly realized how natural it was for me to connect and create meaningful relationships with children and adolescents. My goal is to build a strong relationship with each of my clients while providing a safe environment conducive to reaching their objectives.”
